In the first class on the afternoon of 3rd April, 2018, teacher Zhang Yan from the English Department of Anqing Foreign Language School’s east campus opened up a demonstration lesson at Class 6, Grade 7. In attendance were Anqing Foreign Language School’s President Madam Huang Wenli, Director Wang Shengxiang and the English teachers from the Junior High Section. Also, they proceeded detailed reviews afterwards.
The content of the class centered on Unit 3 Welcome to Sunshine Town from Volume Two of the seventh grade’s English book. Evidently, this public class was perfect in terms of preparation and actual presentation. Teacher Zhang Yan led in the lesson by means of landscapes around us, which was close to students’ life and aroused their interest as well. More remarkably， the blackboard design was of highlighted merits and clear logic, which laid a solid foundation for students’ English writing in the future.
In a word, teacher Zhang Yan’s demonstration lesson played an exemplary role for young teachers, offered them new inspiration in classroom innovation and benefited the teachers present a lot.
